GNFC’s Q1 sales up 35 p.c.

CHENNAI: Gujarat Narmada Valley Fertilizers Company (GNFC) has increased its sales by 35 per cent to Rs. 620.08 crore in the first three months ended June 30, 2007.

The profit before tax has risen by 64 per cent to Rs. 116.21 crore from Rs. 71 crore.

Net earnings work out to Rs. 4.88 against Rs. 3.21 in the year-ago period.
