Robbers decamp with ornaments

NEW DELHI: Three robbers decamped with silver ornaments weighing about 2 kg and Rs. 20,000 in cash from Jangra Jewellers at Najafgarh here over the weekend.

Around 3-30 p.m., the robbers reached the jewellery shop, where two of them went inside on the pretext of making some purchases. Since the jeweller was not around, his son Sachin showed them the ornaments. The intruders robbed him of the jewellery and cash and fled on a motorcycle.

A case of robbery has been registered at the Najafgarh police station and a hunt launched for the culprits.
