Pension adalats

Thiruvananthapuram: Pension adalats would be held from July 16 to August 15 in the city, Mayor C. Jayan Babu said. The City Corporation has also decided to issue photo-identity cards to citizens drawing social security pension during the adalats.

The timing is from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. The pension is for farmers, widows, the aged, physically challenged persons and un-married women over 50. Infuture, it will be disbursed through banks.

The adalats will be held at Kuravankonam, Sasthamangalam, Vazhuthacaud, Palayam, Kannanmoola, Gowrisapattom, Kunnukuzhy, Nanthancode, Kawadiar, Vanchiyoor, Secretariat, Thampanoor, Sreekanteswaram, Palkulangara, Kulathoor, Ulloor, Kadakampally, Peroorkada, Fort, Thirumala, Kamaleswaram, Nemom, Thiruvallam, Muttathara and Karamana.
