KADAPA: Classes for Intermediate M.P.C. and Bi.P.C. Urdu medium will commence in the Government girls junior college here on July 16, according to college principal K. Rajeswari. She called upon students interested to join the courses, to forward application forms to her without delay. The groups in Urdu medium were sanctioned this academic year. Kadapa Mayor P. Ravindranath Reddy donated Rs. 25,000 and Madina Engineering College chairman Mustafa Hussain Bukhari Rs. 20,000 for providing necessary equipment for the courses. Those donating Rs. 10,000 each were DCC Minority Cell chairman Afzal Khan, ZP cooption member Shabbir Ahmed, municipal corporation Kareem Zilani and landlord Barkathullah, according to a statement. State Urdu Teachers Association president S. Nizamuddin, Urdu department inspector Abdul Rab and United Muslim Forum president Ashraf Ali Khan also announced small contributions. Deputy Mayor K. Nabi Rasool promised to contribute the remaining amount required for the course. Auditor P. Khasim Khan promised contribution of salaries of faculty members for one year and to provide all types of books for students for an year.
