The event proved that the motorcycle can be put to more adventurous use
TIRUPATI: If you think that the motorcycle is meant only for commutation, you may probably be wrong. The Tech Ride Challenge, a racing event organised by Yamaha Motors India at SV Arts College ground here on Sunday, proved that a motorcycle can be put to more adventurous use than just driving to office or college. The pulsating event not only threw light on the features of ‘sport riding’, hitherto unknown to many, but even allowed participants to prove their prowess in driving. Sport riders gave a breathtaking performance drawing thunderous applause from the audience. Chief General Manager (Service), Yamaha Motors India, Y.Morito, himself took up the task of entertaining and inspiring the youth in trying their hand at sport riding. While some visitors watched him perform with awe, many motivated youth came forward to take part in the competitions. Regional Service Manager Venkatesh and authorised dealer G. Balaji Chowdary said the event was aimed at preparing the youth for the launch of hi-end sports vehicles in the near future.
