World peace meet soon at Udipi

Kakinada: World peace conference will soon be organised at Udipi, according to Sugunendra Teertha swamiji, chief of Puttiga Math.
Addressing the devotees at the Raghavendra swamy Mandir here on Monday, he said Udipi shrine would be given a face-lift under the beautification planadding new structures, including construction of a dining hall, installation of new idols.
He said a special trust in the name of Sujnana trust was constituted to receive contributions from devotees for construction of permanent projects in Udipi shrine.
Swamiji, who is on a three day tour of the district, earlier visited Anjaneya temple in Chollangi near here in the morning where chief priest Bheemachar received him with full temple honours.
