TIRUPATI: The two left parties CPI (M) and the CPI, along with their frontal organisations, have intensified their ‘Bhoo Poratam’ in Chittoor district. According to reports reaching here from different places in the district, leaders of the two parties followed by their cadres have held angry demonstrations in front of the offices of the MROs resenting the indifferent attitude of the State Government towards their agitation. ‘No action’
They regretted that though it was now more than a month since the Revenue officials had promised to sort out all our land-related problems, nothing has been done so far. At Pichchatur party CPI cadres led by their district leader, P. Murali took out a procession amid heavy sloganeering and laid seige to the MRO’s office demanding the immediate implementation of the recommendations of the Koneru Rangarao Committee report. The left parties are planning a joint meet at Tirupati on July, 19 to review the situation.
