WARANGAL: The Hyderabad-based Green Gold Animation Private Limited has launched its Academy of Art here on Monday. It offers two courses of six-month duration each. The training centre would offer 2D and 3D courses at affordable fee. The 2D course would cost Rs. 50,000 and 3D course Rs. 75,000 with a promise for placement. Mr. Rajiv said the company had which stated in 2001 has presently 100 strong workforce and plans to go for massive recruitment . The key constrain was the growing demand-supply gap in manpower availability that was expected to restrict the Indian animation industry’s growth to $ 869 million against its potential of one billion dollars. With view to bridge the gap, the Green Gold proposed to set training centres across the country, he explained.
