Animation firm launches Academy of Art

WARANGAL: The Hyderabad-based Green Gold Animation Private Limited has launched its Academy of Art here on Monday.

It offers two courses of six-month duration each.

Green Gold managing director Rajiv Chilakalapudi told reporters that they decided to launch their training centre at Warangal.

The training centre would offer 2D and 3D courses at affordable fee.

The 2D course would cost Rs. 50,000 and 3D course Rs. 75,000 with a promise for placement.

Mr. Rajiv said the company had which stated in 2001 has presently 100 strong workforce and plans to go for massive recruitment .

The key constrain was the growing demand-supply gap in manpower availability that was expected to restrict the Indian animation industry’s growth to $ 869 million against its potential of one billion dollars. With view to bridge the gap, the Green Gold proposed to set training centres across the country, he explained.
