HYDERABAD: The Hyderabad District Basketball Association (HDBA) will conduct its annual league for men and women at the Victory Playground (VPG), Hyderabad and YMCA, Secunderabad from July 23. Thirty five teams in the men’s and half a dozen in the women’s sections will be in the fray, according to G.M. Sampath Kumar, General Secretary, HDBA. The teams: Men: A: South Central Railway, Army Ordnance Corps, Artillery A, B, SBI, Nizam Club and Central Excise. B: VPG, CCOB, APSRTC, Lalaguda Workshop, HPS and BHEL. C: Jubil ee Hills, Belli Boys, Rahimpura PG, Flying Asteroids, MMLR Tech. Institute, Secunderabad Club. D: Sanathnagar, YMCA Secunderabad, YMCA Hyderabad, ECIL, Mizo Club, YMG. E: St. Joseph’s College, Gun Rock, St. Mar y’s College, IVY League, Nizam Club B. F: Bhavans College, Hyderabad Spacers, Abiasha Sharp Shooters, St. Mary’s Centenary Sr. College.
