7,000 kg meat seized

The Corporation officials have seized 7,000 kg of meat in all the four zones for keeping them in unhygienic conditions and putting them in cold storage for more than a week, over the past few days.

In a statement, the Corporation Commissioner, D.J. Dinakkaren, said that the seized meat was safely disposed of by workers and action taken against the violators. — Staff Reporter
