DHARWAD: Yoga is the solution for stress management among professionals that is caused by intense competition and modern lifestyle, Assistant Commissioner of Police Ashok Kukanur has said. He was inaugurating the Special Yoga Camp for police personnel organised by the Hubli-Dharwad Police Commissionerate in association with Sri Shakti Yoga Vignana Kendra, Dharwad on Tuesday.Director of the kendra, T.B. Chauhan, elaborated on the usefulness of yoga. He said American cardiologist Dean Ornish had established through research that yoga was effective even in cases of patients who required heart surgery. Police Inspector B.V. Lingadal welcomed the gathering. M.M. Nyamagoudra proposed the vote of thanks.
