Indefinite fast

VIZIANAGARAM: The talks on Tuesday between Collector B. Kishore and CPI(M) leaders M. Krishna Murty, Marrapu Suryanarayana and others on lands occupied by the poor "failed". Later, at a press conference here on Tuesday, Mr. Krishna Murty said that the Collector gave no clear assurance to them on distribution of house-sites to the poor in the four municipalities. Hence, it was decided to intensify their agitation further, he said and added that the CPI(M) would along with CPI begin fast-unto-death at the Colletorate from July 23.
