Identify unsafe buildings: Goel

NEW DELHI: Former Union Minister Vijay Goel visited the house collapse site in Chandni Chowk that claimed three lives on Monday. In a statement, he said unless the Government took the issue of dilapidated buildings seriously, there would be more such mishaps. “The problem has to be addressed in a comprehensive manner,” he said, adding that the Government must identify unsafe building first and then make arrangements for temporary relocation of residents.
