BANGALORE: Qualifier D. Guruprasad stunned the top seed V. Amar 21-14, 18-21, 21-17 and entered the men’s singles final of the Narsamma memorial State-ranking badminton championship, conducted by the Malleswaram Association, here. Guruprasad takes on the third seed Mohit Kamath, who beat the defending champion and the second seed, M.D. Anup Kiran 21-13, 21-15 in the other semifinal. For the second successive week, after their title clash at the Canara Union tournament, Anup Kiran and Prateek Khurana set up a summit clash in the boys’ under-19 event.
