Big win for MICO

BANGALORE: MICO Sports Club pounded Joyce Hockey Club 8-1 in the State ‘C’ division hockey tournament at the KSHA Stadium here on Tuesday.

K.H. Muthappa scored thrice (fifth,18th and 32nd), Rajan twice (13th and 20th)and Sajay (11th), Thimmanna (26th) and Kalappa (40th) once each for MICO.

Karthik Mahalingam (21st) scored for Joyce.

In another fixture, East India Hockey Club beat MICO (Naganathpura) 4-0 with Deepak (14th and 38th) and Samson (16th & 50th) scoring. — Special Correspondent
