Aided college lecturers want GO scrapped
HYDERABAD: The Andhra Pradesh Aided Degree College Lecturers’ Association has demanded scrapping of GO 35 which bans filling of vacancies in aided degree colleges ‘to save the public-funded education system’.
M. Yadagiri, general secretary, while urging the Government to fill all vacant posts in the aided colleges, sought time-scale benefit for part-time lecturers working in these colleges. He demanded allocation of adequate budget to meet the salary expenses of the aided college staff, who were getting salaries after a delay of two to three months.
