Cadets prove their mettle

Thiruvananthapuram: Monday was a colourful day for the students of Kazhakuttam Sainik School. It was the closing ceremony of the 46th Annual Athletic Meet.

Minister for Education M.A. Baby was the chief guest.

The cadets staged a march past, displayed their prowess at band music and choreographed mass physical training movements.

The School Cadet Captain Deepak Sharma led the parade.

The Prasad House won the overall championship the senior student category.

Rajaji House bagged the top honour in the junior student category and V. K. Krishna Menon House in the sub junior student category.

Cadets Jeevish Anand, R. Rakesh and Sanjeev Murmur were declared champions in group A, B and C divisions. Colonel B. Ajit Kumar, principal of the Sainik School, coordinated the function.
