He also gave permission to construct three floors in a building located near Maharaja’s College playground.

Stringent action

Local Administration Minister Paloli Mohammed Kutty has directed to take stringent action against unauthorised construction.

The Government has already collected the details of unauthorised structures in corporations, municipalities and panchayats.

The civic bodies have been directed to take action against such buildings in a time-bound manner.

The Government has got information that many town planning officers had committed irregularities in issuing building permits.
