90,000 snatched from senior citizen

The victim withdrew money from ICICI bank’s Khairatabad branch
HYDERABAD: A youngster snatched away Rs. 90,000 from a 65-year-old man while he was walking on Khairatabad main road during daytime on Tuesday.
The victim V. Ramakrishna, a doctor, was operated on recently and had difficulty in walking. a resident of Anandnagar colony, withdrew money from ICICI bank’s Khairatabad branch around 3 p.m. He was walking slowly towards his house carrying the cash in a plastic see-through carry bag. A teenager came from behind as the doctor reached Shadan college, grabbed the bag and ran away.
“Being physically weak, the senior citizen could not even resist the snatcher,” the Saifabad police station Detective Inspector N. Sudheer said.
