Increase in water level

THIRUVANANTHAPURAM: All major reservoirs in the State registered an increase in water level. The level in the Idukki reservoir increased from 2340.98 ft to 2352.35 ft. At Idamalayar the level went up from 490.39 ft to 504.63 ft and at Kallada from 326.71 ft to 334.97 ft., according to figures released by the Central Water Commission for the week ending July 16. When compared to the levels recorded during the same period last year, Kallada reservoir showed a decrease of 12.96 ft.
