Dow tops 14000 for first time

The Dow Jones Industrial Average, Wall Street’s blue-chip index, briefly topped 14000 for the first time early on Tuesday on strong corporate results. The benchmark index traded as high as 14002.60 shortly after the opening before drifting back down.
