NEW DELHI: Rohan Bopanna and Pablo Cuevas of Uruguay lost the doubles final to Raemon Sluiter and Peter Wessels of the Netherlands in the $100,000 Siemens Open Challenger tennis tournament at Scheveningen, Holland, on Sunday.
The effort was worth 56 ATP points for the two who split the runner-up prize of 3,100 euros. Cuevas, however, managed to win the singles title beating qualifier Dominik Meffert of Germany 6-3, 6-4 in the final, and pocketed 12,250 euros and 80 ATP points.
Bopanna moved up to 108 in the doubles rankings, and remained the No. 1 Indian in singles at 233.
