Sriram shines

Chennai: PSBB (K.K. Nagar), with S. Sriram claiming five for 18, defeated PSBB (T. Nagar) by six wickets to enter the semifinals of the St. Bede’s Centenary-Sumeru Soft u-13 cricket tournament on Tuesday.

The scores (quarterfinals): Santhome HSS 169 for four in 30 overs (K. Vishal 70, M. Prasanna 35, B. Sai Rupesh 29) bt Hindu SSS 62 in 28.5 overs (Rohit D. Katti 25, B. Nishant three for four); PSBB (T. Nagar) 80 in 28.1 overs (S. Srira m five for 18) lost to PSBB (K.K. Nagar) 81 for four in 21.5 overs (J. Shyam Hari three for 11); PS SSS 152 for four in 30 overs (M. Adithyan 52, M. S. Suraj 70 not out) lost to St. Bede’s AIHSS 153 for eight in 29.4 overs (R. Md. Musthafa Sarosh Ahmed 52, Md. Affan Khader 36, Ashwin Srinivas three for 23); Don Bosco MHSS 125 for six in 30 overs (Shah Rukh Khan 42, A. Deepak three for 21) lost to DAV Mogappair 126 for five in 27.5 overs (A. Easy for Royapettah

Royapettah CC defeated Madras Emmanuel by seven wickets in a fourth division ‘C’ match of the TNCA cricket league here recently.
