Interactive session

A team of 14 students from the Priory Lincoln School of Science and Technology, Lincolnshire, U.K., visited Global Public School, Thiruvaniyoor, last week. The students were accompanied by two teachers, Marlene Dupius and Jonathan Peter Kent. The visiting team interacted with students of the school.

The senate members of Gregorian Public School, Maradu, went on a trip to Hossana Mount at Edamattom, Palai. K.V. Poulose, principal, introduced the theme of the camp to the members. Fr. K.M. George, vice-principal, presented a musical programme for the participants. A session on interpersonal intelligence was held by Fr. Jerry Kurian.

A south zone spelling bee metro championship will be organised by APT Eventz, Bangalore. Students from classes V to XIII are eligible to participate. The school elimination round of the championship will be held on July 26, 27 and 30.

The first prize winner will be given a cash prize of Rs.50,000.

The M.P. Manmathan Memorial Trust will organise an essay competition for high school students on the need for prohibition.

For college students, the competition will be held on ‘need and ways for social amity’.
