Held for leaking military information

Bhopal: A man was arrested here on Wednesday on the charge of leaking military information and documents and maps were recovered from his possession, police said.

Mohd Nayeem, a native of Jhansi working as a class IV employee with the railways, was arrested near 3 EME Centre, Additional Superintendent of Police Deepak Verma said.

Several documents, including books, CDs and maps, carrying information about the military were recovered from him, he said.

During interrogation, Nayeem claimed to have been supplied the information by an “unknown person and of passing it on to unknown sources as per the instructions he received.”
