KOTTAYAM: The anti-encroachment drive at Wagamon has been put off temporarily on account of the inclement weather conditions in the area. The decision comes in the wake of the request made by chief of the special task force V.M. Gopala Menon, Additional Land Revenue Commissioner. A key element in the resumption campaign was the services of the survey staff and they would not be able to work under the present weather conditions, it was pointed out. Meanwhile, the revenue authorities continued to issue show cause notices to those suspected of encroachments in Wagamon village. — Staff Reporter
