‘No textbooks of private publishers’

NEW DELHI: The Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) is no longer recommending textbooks of private publishers at the secondary and senior secondary level.

This includes textbooks of private publishers in different subjects of Classes XI-XII, including their Hindi editions, said an official release.

The Board would initiate legal action against publishers who claim to have CBSE recommendation in any book in circulation, it added.
