CA sites not to be auctioned

Bangalore: The Government has decided not to auction sites that are reserved for community amenities (CA) though they come under the purview of Karnataka Industrial Areas Development Board, Minister for Industries Katta Subramanya Naidu has said.

Replying to M.M. Hindasgeri and Mallajamma (Congress) and Manohar Masti (BJP) and Thontadarya of the Janata Dal (S) in the Legislative Council on Wednesday, Replying to Y.A. Narayanaswamy (teachers’ constituency), Mr. Naidu said the food park at Malur in Kolar district would become operational by September 2007. Both the Centre and the State had funded the food park project.
