Rain at a few places

NEW DELHI: Monsoon has been vigorous in east Uttar Pradesh.

RAINFALL: Rain/thundershowers have occurred at most places in east Uttar Pradesh and at isolated places in Haryana, Himachal Pradesh, Punjab, Rajasthan and west Uttar Pradesh. Weathe was mainly dry in the rest of the region. The chief amounts of rainfall in cm are: HIMACHAL PRADESH: Baijnath 3, EAST RAJASTHAN: Kota 5, Kisangarh 4, Bhairsroodgarh, Paroli and Talera 3 each, Bhilwara, Dabla, mandalgarh, Orai, Ramgangmandi and Sarwar 2 each and Kotputli, Ladpura, Mangrol, Navalgarh, Phagi, Pushkar, Pirwa, Sawar and Sapotra 1 each, WEST RAJASTHAN: Bhopalgarh and Nokha 5 each and Churu and Gharsana 1 each, EAST UTTAR PRADESH: Basti 33, Ayodhya 31, Gonda 24, Balrampur and Kakrahi 21 each, Bansi and Chaderdeepghat 20 each, Khadda and Sultanpur FM 15 each, Sultanpur 13, Mukhlishpur 12, Kanpur FM 11, Regoli 9, Birdghat 8, Gorakhpur and Kanpur 7 each, Chatnag and Raebareilly 5 each, Allahabad, Bhatpurwaghat, Fursatganj and Phaphamau 4 each, Bhinga and Elginbridge 3 each, Bahraich, Gomatia and Turtipur 2 each and Dalmau and Lucknow 1 each, WEST UTTAR PRADESH: Ankinghat 1.

FORECAST VALID UNTIL THE MORNING OF 20th JULY 2007: Rain/thundershowers are likely at many places in east Uttar Pradesh and at isolated places in the rest of the region.

FORECAST FOR DELHI AND NEIGHBOURHOOD VALID UNTIL THE MORNING OF 20th JULY 2007: Warm and humid day with partly cloudy sky. Possibility of thundry activity in some areas.
