World Kannada meet in September

Bangalore: The three-day Vishwa Kannada Sammelana in Belgaum, which was postponed several times, will now be held in the last week of September.

Announcing this in the Legislative Assembly, Minister for Kannada and Culture H.S. Mahadeva Prasad, however, said that the date of the sammelana would be decided by a committee headed by Chief Minister H.D. Kumaraswamy, shortly.
