Concern over death of students

VIZIANAGARAM: Former TDP MP D.V.G. Sankara Rao has expressed concern over the deaths at regular intervals in tribal welfare ashram schools in the district.

According to official figures, 31 children had died due to fevers since July 2005 (eight deaths in 2005, 19 in 2006 and four during this year).

On Thursday last, Kandruka Suresh, a class 3 student of Ravikona Ashram School died due to fever.
