Boy injured in freak accident

KOLAR: A boy was injured when his friend opened fire at Tabagaranahalli in Sidlaghatta rural police station limits around 7 p.m. on Wednesday.

Narasappa’s grandson Anil accidentally pulled the trigger of a gun, which was kept to scare away animals from fields, and it went off injuring Munindra.

Munindra has been admitted to Shidlaghatta Government Hospital. He was out of danger, Sub-Inspector Ramappa Gutter said.
