Spelling competition

Coimbatore: The Coimbatore Chapter of Association of British Scholars will organise an English spelling competition here on July 23.

Termed “The Spelling Bee”, the competition that will be held jointly with Sri Krishna Sweets, will involve school and college students from in and around Coimbatore.

Students from Classes VI upwards can take part. The competition will begin at 2 p.m. at Ardra Hall, Huzur Road. Chris Gibson, Director of British Council, Chennai, will give away the prizes. For details, call George on 99525-06720.
