Vice-Chancellors appointed

CHENNAI: New Vice-Chancellors have been appointed to the Tamil Nadu Dr. Ambedkar Law University here and the Alagappa University in Karaikudi.

A press release from the Raj Bhavan said S. Sachidhanandam, retired Principal of Government Law College in Tirunelveli, was appointed Vice-Chancellor of the law university.

Dr. P. Ramasamy, professor and head of the department of biotechnology, was appointed Vice-Chancellor of the Alagappa University.

The release said Governor and Chancellor of the universities, Surjeet Singh Barnala, made the appointment for a period of three years from the date of assumption of office by the new incumbents.
