Viswanath, Zameer on the rampage

HYDERABAD: A century by R.A. Viswanath (113, 14x4, 2x6) helped South Central Railway Sports Association score 407 for nine against Ensconse in the A-Division (three-day) league cricket championship here on Wednesday.

A double century by Md. Zameeruddin (201 not out, 22x4) was the highlight of Saleemnagar’s drawn encounter against Sayi Sathya CC in the A-Division (two-day)league.

The Hyderabad District Judo Association will organise the sub-junior championship for boys and girls at Quli Qutub Shah Stadium here on July 29. Easy for Bolarum XI

Bolarum XI scored an emphatic 6-0 win over Hyderabad Sporting to enter the quarterfinals of the Salar-e-Millat Challenge Cup prize money football tournament at the Quli Qutub Shah Stadium here. The winner led 3-0 at the break.

Manibushan struck thrice while Qadeer, Rakesh and Ramesh scored once each for the winner.

Rakesh was given a cash incentive of Rs.1,000 by a football lover, Tameem, for scoring a fine goal in the second-half.
