Two RAS officers suspended

Jaipur: Two Rajasthan Administrative Service officials were on Wednesday suspended for their alleged involvement in granting of illegal arms licences to people in Rajasthan’s Sriganganagar district bordering Pakistan.

Additional District Magistrate, Sriganganagar, Lal Chand Ojha and district Supply officer Rajendra Shekhar Makkar were served suspension orders, Secretary of Department of Personnel Mukesh Sharma said.

These licenses were allocated in last five years, 2002-6, they said.
