Meet on forest management

KORAPUT: A meeting on joint forest management was held at Musuriaguda village in Manabar panchayat of Koraput block on Thursday.

Suresh Kumar Rath, forest range officer of Koraput, attended the meeting as chief guest and spoke on the importance of preservation of forest. Tribal men and women from six neighbouring villages in the panchayat attended the meeting.

It was organised by Koraput Farmers’ Association to promote afforestation in the panchayat.
