400 bags of rice seized

BERHAMPUR: A team of administrative officials including the Berhampur sub-collector and local tehsildar raided a rice mill operating at Gosani Nuagaon area of the city and seized more than 400 bags of rice on Thursday afternoon. It was alleged that this rice mill was illegally procuring rice meant for subsidised distribution among Below Poverty Line (BPL) families and refining it for sell at higher price in general market.
