Education loans distributed

Puducherry: Welfare Minister M. Kandasamy recently distributed Rs.11.18 lakh as education loans, sanctioned by the Corporation for Welfare of Backward Classes and Minorities and by the National Backward Classes Corporation, to 28 students to pursue engineering and medical courses, and diploma courses in teachers’ education, a release said. Managing Director of the Corporation here S. Mohandoss, General Manager V. Adimoolam and Office Manager V. Balasubramanian were present. — Special Correspondent
