VAT-compliant software launched

PUDUCHERRY: Tally (India) Private Limited has launched “Tally 9”, an accounting and inventory software with VAT compliance for Puducherry.

Addressing a presspersons here on Thursday, Sengupta, regional office manager of the company, said the software, besides incorporating statutory features, offers enhanced performance with capabilities such as payroll and point of sale invoicing and excise for dealers.

The software has got inbuilt features to support entry and display of data in all the major Indian languages and English.

The software can be used for recording transactions with Puducherry-specific VAT classifications, computing VAT reports and generate periodic VAT composite returns and annexure. Yennes Infotec Private Ltd is its authorised distributor in Puducherry. — Staff Reporter
