Three killed in accident

Hosur: Three women were killed on the spot and 30 others grievously injured when the maxi-cab in which they were travelling overturned at Bagalur near here on Friday.

Police said that a group of 30 labourers working in a factory in Sarjapur in Karnataka were on the way to Bagalur when the vehicle reportedly lost control and overturned after one of its tyres went flat.

Susheela (30), Saraswati (19) and Susheela (25) of Bagalur were killed on the spot. The injured were admitted to the Hosur Government Hospital. The Bagalur police have registered a case.
