DUTA protest against shifting department

NEW DELHI: The Delhi University Teachers’ Association held a demonstration outside the office of Vice-Chancellor Deepak Pental on Thursday in protest against the shifting of the Department of Slavonic and Finno-Ugrain Studies from the South Campus to the North Campus. A DUTA delegation submitted a memorandum to Prof. Pental demanding immediate rollback of the action.

“The V-C promised that he would consult his team of officials about placing the matter before the Academic Council,” said DUTA.
