137 MLAs cast votes in State

THIRUVANANTHAPURAM: Out of the 140 elected members of the Kerala Legislative Assembly, 137 cast their votes in the President election for which polling was held at the Assembly complex here on Thursday. Two MLAs, KC(M) leader K.M. Mani and CPI(M) member C.M. Dinesh Mani, could not cast their votes owing to indisposition and the third, M.J. Jacob of the CPI(M), could not do so on account of an adverse verdict in an election case. The total value of the votes cast in Kerala is 39,396. — Special Correspondent
