Correction

In the report titled “Corporation seeks to double water charges” that appeared on Page 1 of the edition dated July 18, 2007, the sentence in paragraph 5 beginning with “The Corporation” should read as “The Corporation has stated in its budget that an increase is essential to put an end to the losses it makes in supplying water at rates lower than it pays the Tamil Nadu Water Supply and Drainage Board” and not as published.
