TDP stages protest against commodity price rise

ADILABAD: The Telugu Desam Party (TDP) on Thursday staged a protest march against rising prices of essential commodities.

Party leaders and workers also demonstrated their protest by selling vegetables in front of the district Collectorate.

TDP district president Gone Hanmanth Rao criticised the Congress Government for losing control over prices of essential items like vegetables and food grains which put a heavy burden on the common man.

He said most of the vegetables were being sold for an exorbitant range.

A delegation of party leaders later submitted a memorandum to the Collector.
