Srinagar: Two persons, including a militant, were killed and three wounded while four ultras, one of them a self-styled battalion commander of Hizbul Mujahideen, were apprehended in Jammu and Kashmir on Thursday. In a joint operation, police and BSF personnel nabbed top Hizb militant Bilal Ahmad in Bandipora, some 55 km from here, an official spokesman said. He said Ahmed, a self-styled battalion commander, was the most wanted militant in north Kashmir. An unidentified militant was killed in a gunbattle with security forces in Handwara area in Kupwara district, he said, adding that a 10-year-old boy was wounded. — PTI
