Drugs seized

NEW DELHI: Three alleged drug peddlers carrying 10 gm of cocaine and 5 kg of charas have been arrested by the Narcotics Branch of the Delhi police this week.

Acting on a tip-off that a drug peddler would deliver a consignment of cocaine near Himachal Emporium in Connaught Place on Tuesday afternoon, the police mounted a raid and arrested him with the stuff.

During interrogation, Sanjay purportedly disclosed that he has been in the drug business for the past two years.

Two more persons, Hemant Kumar Sharma and Arvind Kumar, were arrested on Wednesday on charges of smuggling charas.
