Two killed in road accidents

BANGALORE: Sunil Kumar (30) died on the spot after a mini-bus hit his scooter on Kasturba Road around 1 a.m. The Cubbon Park traffic police, who have registered a case, said Sunil, a priest, was a resident of Thyagarajanagar.

In the other incident, Farooq (33), driver of a mini-lorry, was killed after a lorry rammed his vehicle on Vijayanagar Service Road around 1 a.m.

The CCB on Wednesday arrested two persons and seized from them pirated DVDs and MP3 disks, estimated at Rs. 1.95 lakh. The police said Khaleem (43) and Sadiq (20) were selling the disks near PRTC Circle in J.C. Nagar.
