Employees stage demonstration

ADILABAD: The Adilabad unit of the Struggle committee of Central, State Government, Public sector employees, teachers and workers, on Thursday staged lunch-hour demonstration at the district Collectorate, demanding halt to privatisation of pension funds by scrapping the new pension Bill. The other demands were legislation of the right of the Government employees and workers to launch protest agitations, stopping of privatisation of public sector units and downsizing of staff and increase of interest rate on GPF and EPF funds.
