Woman ends life
A housewife, who attempted suicide by setting herself ablaze at her house at Chilkalguda on Wednesday, died while undergoing treatment at Gandhi Hospital on Thursday. The police said G. Neelamma (35) ended her life after a quarrel with her husband Gundappa over a family matter.
Degree student slips in toilet, dies
A second-year degree student of Nizam College V. Bikshapathi (21) died after he accidentally slipped in the toilet in his hostel at Dilsukhnagar on Thursday. His roommates rushed him to Osmania General Hospital where he was declared brought dead. He was staying in Government Home for Men at Dilsukhnagar, police said.
Commits suicide
A seventh-standard student G. Raju (12) committed suicide by setting himself ablaze at his house at Gopinagar in Chandanagar on Wednesday. The police said he took the drastic step after his mother allegedly admonished him for not going to school.
Killed in accident
A 14-year-old boy was run over by an unidentified vehicle at Ghatkesar on Wednesday. G. Apanna, was a native of Srikakulam.
